Bookmates' Workshop - Childhood: There's No App For That @ Bookmates' office | Winnipeg | Manitoba | Canada

In this workshop discussion will focus on family literacy inspired strategies to help parents, caregivers, and professionals manage screen time use. Content is geared towards those working with children from birth to 6 years of age and will include:

  • The science behind screen time and the developing brain
  • How screen time impacts literacy and learning
  • How screen time impacts parenting
  • Strategies and practical applications to effectively manage screen

    time use in a family literacy context

Spaces are limited.
Priority given to those working and living in the Downtown.
